'Kau chim'

After reserving Saturday for Ching Meng, Sunday I went to temple for prayers with Cousin Rain. Lucky me, the usually crowded temple was empty. My luck ! After prayers, I went to 'kau chim' (means asking God for guidance). I asked for 2 things.

• If the good job offer in the horizon comes through do I take it or not?


• When is the damn Mr Right coming along? Damn sien waiting already.

While I was busy shuffling the 'chim', I felt someone next to me also shuffling a 'chim' container. Oik.. I thought I was the only one.. so I opened one eye and peeked. Ah! It's Cousin Rain shuffling a much smaller container. Curious, I whispered...

Me : Eh, you 'kau' apa?

Rain: 'Kau' numbers.

Me : eh... you got 'side wealth meh' ?

Rain: Shh.. don't break my concentration. I am looking for sponsors for my Indo trip.
